ListingMap on Redfin

See what's nearby on any Redfin listing, with real travel times, without a second tab.

ListingMap open over a home in Austin, Texas, with saved places, category pins and a route on the map
ListingMap open on a home in Austin, Texas.

Redfin Estimate, tour history, sometimes a walk and bike score: plenty to read, none of it telling you how far the place is from your gym or your regular grocery run.

ListingMap adds a button to the listing that opens a map of the home against your saved places, or any category you tap, gym, station, supermarket, with a real travel time by car, public transport, on foot or by bike.

On a Redfin listing

  1. 1

    One button, wherever you scroll

It floats in the same corner of the page the whole time, since Redfin's layout has no fixed spot to pin it to.

  2. 2

    Places or categories, your call

Open it for the home against your saved places, or tap a category instead and the nearest matches show up with their own travel time.

  3. 3

Pop it out or close it

"Expand ↗" takes the map full-size into a new tab. Closing the panel drops you straight back on the listing.

Common questions

Does it work on Redfin's search results pages too?

Not yet, just the listing page for now. Nearby and Hide on search results already run on Rightmove, Zoopla, OnTheMarket, Zillow, Idealista, Funda, Daft and Domain.com.au, with more sites being added over time.

Do I need to sign in to use it on Redfin?

No, travel times work with no account at all. Sign in only if you want your saved places kept in sync across more than one device.

Will it slow down Redfin or change how the page looks?

No. A button, and a panel once you open it, is all ListingMap adds. Redfin's own layout and listings stay exactly as they are.

Does hiding a home on Redfin also hide it on Zillow?

No, a hidden list is kept separately per site, since Redfin and Zillow assign their own listing ID to the same property.
